Part of the underground network of Paris (France)
The Sprague-Thomson was conceived in 1908 by the synthesis of already-existing systems. Beginning in 1907, the CMP was constructing metallic stock. The motrices 500 (motor cars) formed the first series of Sprague-Thomson, which was referred to familiarly as simply “Sprague”. The cars were constructed entirely of metal and had two motors.

Trainset is coming into underground station
This suite,most famous and representative of parisian metropolitan network is born after world war I. It was used from 1926 to 1983.
driver places (petite loge in french) was reduced to offer more space for passengers. Normal trainset had 5 vehicles (M-Bb-Ab-Bb-M).
trainset elements were renewed after the Second World War and were replaced little by little during the appearance of the series MF 67
This pakset has one front (and back) engine named M.1000, one 2nd cl. car named Bb.300 and 1st cl. car named Ab.400 (middle of trainset).
